Workshop Director

Summary

We are looking for a Workshop Director to run the workshop that produces and assembles high-capacity industrial metal shelving for clients' large warehouses.

The Workshop Director oversees the workshop, its reports, workflow and quality, and buys its raw materials. The role takes the technical information from the design department and goes with the workshop team to the client's site for installation.

Responsibilities

• Leads the workshop team
• Prepares daily activity reports
• Takes over production and installation from the project managers
• Orders raw materials from suppliers
• Coordinates installation work
• Keeps clients informed on production and installation
• Works closely with the technical office

Must have

• AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Intuition, technical skills and experience
• Integrity and leadership
• The ability to spot opportunities at the client's site and grow the workshop's production capacity
• The ability to propose development strategies to management and to report weak points with possible solutions
• A commitment to developing yourself and your team
• Good communication skills
• Driver's license (B)
