Production Coordinator

Summary

We are looking for a Production Coordinator to run the workshop that builds and assembles high-capacity metal shelving for clients' large warehouses.

The Production Coordinator takes the technical information from the design department, passes it to the workshop, and goes with the workers to the client's site for installation. The role leads the workshop, sets and checks its objectives, monitors its workflow and quality, buys its raw materials, and reports to management.

Responsibilities

• Leads the workshop team
• Prepares daily activity reports
• Takes over production and installation from the project managers
• Orders raw materials from suppliers
• Coordinates installation work
• Keeps clients informed on production and installation
• Works closely with the technical office
• Reports to the General Manager

Must have

• AutoCAD
• Computer literacy
• Good communication skills
• Integrity and leadership
• Intuition, a positive attitude, creativity and efficiency
• The ability to spot opportunities at the client's site and grow the workshop's production capacity
• The ability to propose development strategies and to report weak points with possible solutions
• A commitment to developing yourself and your team
• Driver's license (B)
