Job Description
We are hiring a Workshop Manager for the production and assembly of high-capacity industrial metal shelving systems for large-scale client warehouses. The Workshop Manager oversees the production workshop, supervising compliance with activity-specific objectives; prepares activity reports; monitors workflow dynamics and reports to management; oversees the quality of work carried out in the workshop; and manages the procurement of raw materials. The Workshop Manager receives technical information from the design department and communicates it to the production workshop for the construction of storage racks. Afterwards, together with the workshop team, they go to the implementation site according to the technical criteria established by the client and management.
Key Responsibilities
- •Monitoring the workers’ team
- •Preparing daily activity reports
- •Taking over production and installation activities from project managers
- •Placing orders with raw material suppliers
- •Coordinating installation works
- •Communicating with clients regarding production and installation activities
- •Collaborating and communicating effectively with the technical office
Requirements
- •Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office
- •Ability to identify potential opportunities at the client’s location and develop the workshop’s production capacity
- •Ability to propose development strategies to management and report vulnerabilities as well as possible solutions
- •Intuition, technical skills, and experience
- •Integrity and leadership abilities
- •Capacity for personal development and development of the team under supervision
- •Good communication skills (English speaker is considered a plus)
- •Category B driving license
