Job Description

We are hiring a Workshop Manager with intuition, technical skills (AutoCAD knowledge), integrity, leadership abilities, and the capacity for both personal development and the development of the team under their supervision. The ideal candidate should have an open and positive attitude, while being creative and efficient. It is important for the candidate to have the ability to identify potential opportunities at the client’s location and to develop the production capacity of the workshop; to propose development strategies to management; and to present discovered vulnerabilities to management, along with possible solutions. The production workshop’s activity consists of building and assembling high-capacity metal shelving systems for large-scale client warehouses. The Workshop Manager receives technical information from the design department and disseminates it to the production workshop for the construction of storage racks. Afterwards, they go to the implementation site together with the team of workers, according to the criteria established by management and clients. The Workshop Manager leads the production workshop, supervising compliance with activity-specific objectives; prepares activity reports; monitors workflow dynamics and reports to management; oversees the quality of the work carried out in the workshop; and manages the procurement of raw materials.

Key Responsibilities

• •Taking over production and installation activities from project managers
• •Placing orders with raw material suppliers
• •Coordinating installation works
• •Communicating with clients regarding production and installation activities
• •Collaborating and communicating effectively with the technical office
• •Reporting activity to the General Director

Requirements

• •AutoCAD knowledge
• •Good communication skills (English speaker is considered a plus)
• •Computer skills
• •Category B driving license
• •Higher education is considered an advantage, but is not mandatory
