Ascensi Management SRL (“Ascensi” or “we”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Policy (together with other documents referred to herein) describes what personal information we collect from you and how we process your personal information.

The personal information we may collect from you.

We will collect personal information when you visit the Website, including but not limited to traffic data, location data, web logs, the content of surveys and contact forms and other data relating to the communication and resources you access them. The collection of this personal information will make it easier for you to visit the Website in the future, as we may suggest Content that is relevant to you based on where you access the Website.

We will collect all information you provide to us when you use our contact forms (e.g. “Contact”, “CV Application”, and any other form by which you contact us and provide personal information), and in particular first name, last name , email address, phone number.

Providing personal information through our contact forms is not a statutory or contractual requirement; however, please note that fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required, as we need this information to comply with or respond to your request. Other data or personal information you provide to us when completing contact forms is at your discretion. If you contact us, we will keep track of that correspondence.

Also, cookies are automatically stored by your browser when accessing the Website. They can be deleted manually by you at any time, using the function of any browser to “delete cookies”.

We do not make automated decisions solely on the basis of automated processing, including through the creation of profiles, which have legal effects on you or which significantly affect you in a similar way.

The retention periods for your personal information depend on the purpose for which the data is processed and the instrument for which such personal information is processed. The various periods of retention of information in a reasonable format under this Policy cannot be disclosed. The criteria used to determine the applicable retention period is that we will retain the personal information set out in this policy as long as:

  • is necessary for that purpose,
  • is necessary for the development of the business relationship with you,
  • you have consented and / or
  • is required by applicable information retention laws.

Providing information to third parties

In order to facilitate the efficient use of your information and to provide you with content and / or resources, we disclose your information to third parties. However, disclosure will only take place in the situations below

To suppliers, contractors and agents:

from time to time, we may involve or hire other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include hosting and / or maintaining the content of the Website or providing certain functions contained in the Website, companies that have jobs or providing marketing services. These suppliers are located in Romania. These recipients will only have access to your personal information requested to perform their functions and are not allowed to use that information. These recipients will comply with contractual obligations of confidentiality.

To government or law enforcement authorities

if we establish, at our sole discretion, that it is our legal obligation to do so.

IP addresses and cookies

We collect information about your computer, including (where available, data), IP address, operating system, and browser type, for system administration. These are statistics about our users’ actions and browsing patterns and do not identify you or anyone else.

If your computer is shared with others, we recommend that you do not select the “remember my details” option when this option is provided by the Website.

Where your personal information is stored and processed

As explained in the “Providing Information to Third Parties” section above, we provide your information to Third Party Suppliers, Contractors or Agents if we use a supplier, contractor or third party agent, your personal information remains under our control and we have established controls to ensure that your personal information is properly protected.

We strive to take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy.

Do we transfer your data outside the European Union?

Your personal information may be transferred and processed in one or more other countries, inside or outside the European Union. If necessary, we will only transfer your data outside the EU to countries that the European Commission considers to provide you with an adequate level of protection, or if Ascensi has put in place appropriate security measures to seek to preserve the confidentiality of your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, you should be aware that the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure and that we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the Website or any third party; for this reason, any transmission of information is at your own risk. We will use strict operational procedures and appropriate security, technical and organizational measures to prevent any unauthorized access, modification, deletion or transmission of this personal information.

Right to access and obtain a copy of your personal information:

You may make such a request at any time, and Ascensi will evaluate the fulfillment of your request, but this right is subject to any legal rights or obligations under which we may retain the data. For situations where, by law, we determine that your request to have your personal information deleted must be complied with, Ascensi will do so without undue delay.

If you can prove that the personal information we hold about you is incorrect, you may request that this information be updated or corrected.

To the extent that the processing of your personal information is based on your consent, you also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can also make complaints about the processing of your personal information to your local data protection authority.

Marketing communications

We may only send marketing communications by e-mail or events of interest if you have agreed to this.

We will usually provide you with a selection option on the forms we use to collect your personal information, in which case, if you agree to receive marketing communications, you must click on the box with this option. If we email you marketing communications, you may opt out of receiving any additional marketing communications by clicking the “unsubscribe” or “stop” feature in your email.
